Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Graduation, Post Graduation, CA, ICWA, MBA, PG Diploma.
  • No experience is needed for the Assistant Manager post. For the posts of Manager, Senior Manager, and Chief Manager, candidates require 3 years, 5 years, and 7 years of experience respectively.
  • Note: Candidates are required to read the notification thoroughly, wherein Educational Qualifications and Experience needed for the respective posts have been given comprehensively.

Age

  • 21 -30 years for Assistant Manager
  • 25 -35 years for Manager
  • 27 -38 years for Senior Manager
  • 29 -40 years for Chief Manager
  • Age relaxation for reserved category would be according to the ‘Government of India’ norms. To know more about it, please refer to the notification.

Nationality

  • A candidate must be either –
  • (i) a Citizen of India or
  • (ii) a subject of Nepal or
  • (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
  • (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Selection Procedure

  • Depending upon the number of applications received, the Bank at its discretion will decide on the mode of selection viz.
  • 1. Shortlisting of applications followed by interview or
  • 2. Written / Online Test followed by Interview

Probation and Confirmation

  • The selected candidates in Scale I posts will be on probation for a period of 2 years from the date of joining. Selected candidates in Scale II, III and IV posts will be on probation for a period of 1 year from the date of joining.
  • Their confirmation in the Bank’s service will be decided in terms of the provisions of Indian Bank Officers Service Regulations, 1979.
