High Court of Orissa Recruitment 2023; Notification Released for 88 Group-D Cadre Posts

Good opportunity for the aspirants who have passed the VIII class; The High Court of Orissa has released a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for applying for the vacancies for Orderly and Office Peon, Class-IV, and Mali in the Group-D cadre.

Online applications will be accepted from 17-Apr-2023 to 11.59 p.m. of 01-May-2023. All interested candidates are advised to apply well before the stipulated time without waiting until the last moment.

Appointments are direct, and all appointments are on a contractual basis for two years. After satisfactory completion of 2 years, the incumbents will be absorbed permanently.

The total vacancies are 88 and the category wise distribution of the posts is as given below. Category-wise distribution of the 73 vacancies for Junior Engineer is as given below:

Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Age

Candidate must be above 21 years of age and below 35 years of age as on the date of publication of the notification i.e. 17-Apr-2023

Upper Age Relaxation

Maximum 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC and Woman candidates
Maximum 10 years for PwDs (Person with Disabilities). PwDs belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories can get a total 15 years relaxation (10 years under PwD plus 5 years under SC/ST/SEBC)
Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen candidates shall be in accordance with the State Government Act.
There shall be 5 years relaxation for the person engaged in the household of a judge, applying for the post in Group-D/Class-IV.
Also, the Mulia(s), who are on Roll of the Court on the date when The High Court of Orissa Rules (Appointment of Staff and Conditions of Services), 2019 came into force, shall be given a maximum of 5 years relaxation.

Education and Skills Required

Orderly, Office Peon, Class IV

Candidate must be Class VIII passed and skilled in cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, and other household work.

Mali

Candidates must be Class VIII passed and have practical knowledge and work skill in gardening.
Should have undergone any special training in Gardening or at least 3 years experience in gardening either in Government or Private Nursery/Farm

Application Fee

Rs. 300/- have to be paid online towards exam fees. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD are exempted from exam fees.
