Educational Qualification (as on 01-Feb-2023)

  • For Credit Officer : A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • For IT Officer : Any of the following:
  • a) 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation; or
  • b) A graduate degree in any discipline AND Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications; or
  • c) A Graduate degree in any discipline AND having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

Age (as on 01-Feb-2023)

  • 20 -29 years. Age will be determined as on 1- Feb-2023
  • There is a separate upper-age relaxation for different reserved categories. To know more about it, please refer to the notification.

Nationality

  • A candidate must be either –
  • (i) a Citizen of India or
  • (ii) a subject of Nepal or
  • (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
  • (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be through an online test, group discussion and personal interview
  • Final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Online Examination, Personal Interview, and Group discussion.
  • After the final selection of the candidates as above, they have to pass a 1-year Diploma course (PGDBM) before getting inducted/ absorbed in the Bank. It is mandatory.
  • The Fee for the above said PGDBF course of one year is Rs. 3,50,000/- + GST
